In an effort to gift to the mother nature and reducing our carbon footprint, to-day i.e. 15 May 2023, we took a small step towards achieving one of the significant element of our corporate social responsibility. As part of our CSR, we contributed to www.sankalptaru.org, for their ‘Project Pasumai Tamil Nadu – பசுமை தமிழ்நாடு’.

To support the distressed farmers, SankalpTaru has started Project Pasumai Tamil Nadu, a new initiative to lend a helping hand to farmers by planting fruit bearing trees like Sapota, Pomegranate, Guava, Mango, Custard apple, Amla, Lemon, and Coconut on their lands. The project is to strengthen the options of livelihoods of farmers while also enriching greenery in the region.

We proudly participated in the project with a humble beginning of planting 2 guava saplings. The trees are geo tagged and tracked through block chain technology. The virtual forest can be accessed through https://sankalptaru.org/user/PYGCF2/

As the saying in Tamil, ‘சிறு துளி பெரு வெள்ளம்’ (trans: little drops make mighty ocean), we would continue with our small efforts towards contribution to mother nature and environment.
